The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission recognized author Harvey Oyer with a Special Recognition Award at its quarterly meeting on December 1st. Oyer is a fifth generation Floridian who penned two very popular children’s books based on the real-life adventures of his ancestors, who were among Palm Beach County’s original settlers.
